The present paper deals the ecological diversity of Shahdol division forest. Biodiversity has become most important aspect of present day world. Large areas of forests, particularly in districts like Shahdol, have been converted in to cultivated areas. The present studies were made to evaluate ecological studies of vegetation of Jaitpur forest of Shahdol district. The trees were measured for their Frequency, Density and basal area and then IVI of trees was calculated with the help of calculating relative value of frequency, density and basal area.
