The review underscores the critical role of emerging technologies in addressing challenges such as renewable energy variability, economic barriers, and cybersecurity risks. Additionally, it identifies opportunities for innovation through hybrid energy systems, vehicle-to-grid solutions, and supportive policy frameworks.
