Composition corn oil determinate for spectroscopy IR

Abstract
Corn oil is 100% fat, with no protein or
carbohydrates. One tablespoon (15 ml) of corn oil contains: calories: 122; fat:
14 g; vitamin E: 13% of the recommended daily intake. It contains absorption
bands between 4000 and 450cm-1 and were determined with a Perkin Elmer Fourier
spectrometer. Corn oil contains the following functional groups: C-H, C=C,
-CH=CH2.
